Who we are

Brenda

Hi! This is me. I’m the Graphic and Web Designer of this outfit. I’m also one of the photographers. I’ve been doing graphic work for a while as part of other jobs, but now I want to do it directly for my clients. There’s nothing quite like being able to solve someones problems and take some of the stress out of their day.

Some one said to me a while ago that life is too short to do something you don’t love, day after day. I’ve also heard a quote “Do what you love for a living, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” and this is what I love doing.

We work from a large office on our Organic Farm in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. If you are one of those people who do not take seriously, the work of people who work from home, I would like to remind you of someone else who works from his home office –  THE PRESIDENT of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Perry

This is Perry. Perry is an amazing proof reader, photographer,  photo manipulator, and all round vital part of this duo. He’s also better at math than me so he looks after things like the GST returns! With his Boarding School background, both in England and New Zealand, his grasp of the English language is better than most peoples.  Perry worked as a professional photographer for a number of years and now we have exclusive use of his many talents!

So why should you give Black Cats Graphics a try?

What our customers can expect of us:
Get what they ask for (and be told promptly if we can’t do the job)
Options for consideration (including past work examples to view)
The benefit of our experience (being new on the block does not mean no experience)
Progress reports (so you know where we are at on your project)
Good value (completing work within your budget)
Contract or hourly rates (we’ll negotiate on those)

What we expect of our customers:
Fairly clear and lucid instructions (optional items are OK)
Reasonable deadlines to work to (we can’t do the impossible, never mind immediately)
One person to deal with for decisions (not even an artist can serve two masters)
Prompt payment (when we’ve done what’s been asked for)

Very important, too. It’s an old line, but holds true, anyway.

If it’s bad: tell us

If it’s good: tell everyone

Or, less succinctly

If you’re not satisfied, tell us and we’ll try to fix the problem. If you are satisfied, please refer anyone else to us who you think would benefit from our work.
